Privacy Policy

Content Studio (studio.elucidategroup.com.au) is a service run by Elucidate Group(“Elucidate”, “we”, “us”), based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Content Studio helps businesses plan, write, design, approve and publish posts to their own social media accounts, such as their Facebook Page and Instagram professional account.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or delete it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Your name, email address and the role you have in a workspace (owner, admin, editor or approver).
- Sign-in records, such as when you last signed in.
Business information you give us
- Business details such as business name, industry, location, opening hours, website, booking link, products, services, offers, events, campaigns and customer reviews you choose to add.
- Brand kit items such as logos, colours, fonts, photos and tone of voice.
- Posts and captions that are drafted, edited, approved, scheduled or published in Content Studio.
- Public information from your business website, if you ask us to read it.
Information from Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
When you choose to connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account using Facebook Login, Meta asks you to approve the access Content Studio requests. With your permission we receive:
- Your Facebook user ID and name (to know who connected the account).
- The list of Facebook Pages you manage, and for the Pages you select: the Page ID, name and a Page access token.
- The Instagram professional account linked to that Page: its ID, username and profile picture.
- Business account information needed to find the Pages and Instagram accounts you have chosen to connect.
- The IDs, links and basic engagement information (such as likes and comments counts) of posts that Content Studio publishes for you.
We only use this access to show you your connected accounts and to publish the posts you or your team have approved. We do not read your private messages, we do not post anything without approval from someone in your workspace, and we do not access your personal Facebook profile, friends or personal posts.
Technical information
- Basic log data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages you use) that our hosting providers record to keep the service secure and working.
- Essential cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To provide Content Studio: create workspaces, plan and write posts, render post images and publish them.
- To send you service emails, such as sign-in links, invitations and reminders to approve posts.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
- To bill for the service (when paid plans apply).
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do notsell your information, use it for advertising, or share Facebook or Instagram data with data brokers. Data received from Meta is used only to provide the features described above, in line with Meta’s Platform Terms.
3. Artificial intelligence
Content Studio uses AI services to suggest post ideas and write captions, and to summarise public information from your website when you ask it to. To do this, the relevant business information (for example your business details, offers and events) is sent to our AI providers to generate content for you. You and your team review and approve all content before it is published. We do not send Facebook or Instagram access tokens to AI providers.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us run Content Studio, and only as needed:
- Vercel — website hosting, file storage (images) and access to AI models.
- Supabase — database and sign-in.
- Resend — sending emails.
- AI model providers (such as Anthropic), accessed through Vercel — writing post content.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — publishing the posts you approve to your accounts.
- Stripe — payments, when paid plans apply.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others.
5. Where your information is stored
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. How we protect your information
- Facebook and Instagram access tokens are encrypted before they are stored.
- Each business’s data is kept in its own workspace, and database rules stop one workspace from seeing another’s data.
- All connections to Content Studio use HTTPS encryption.
- Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it to run the service.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your workspace is active. If you disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account, we delete its access tokens straight away. If your workspace is closed, or you ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep some records (such as invoices) by law. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
Posts that have already been published to your Facebook Page or Instagram account belong to you and stay there until you remove them on Facebook or Instagram.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update most of your information inside Content Studio.
- You can disconnect Facebook or Instagram at any time, inside Content Studio or in your Facebook settings.
- You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
See our data deletion instructions for the step-by-step process. To make any request, email sam@elucidategroup.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, please email sam@elucidategroup.com.au and we will work with you to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will let workspace owners know by email.
