Data Deletion Instructions

You can remove Content Studio’s access to your Facebook and Instagram accounts, and ask us to delete your data, at any time. Choose whichever option suits you below. For more about what we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

Option 1: Disconnect inside Content Studio

  1. Sign in at studio.elucidategroup.com.au and open your workspace.
  2. Click the Social tab (the Facebook & Instagram page). Workspace owners and admins can see this tab.
  3. Click Disconnect. We immediately delete the stored access tokens, and Content Studio can no longer publish to or read from those accounts.

Option 2: Remove Content Studio in Facebook

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings and search for Business integrations (or open facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools).
  2. Find Content Studio and tick the box next to it.
  3. Click Remove and confirm. This stops our access to your Facebook Pages and the Instagram accounts linked to them.

This stops our access straight away: the access tokens we hold no longer work. To also have the information we store deleted, use Option 1 or Option 3.

Option 3: Ask us to delete all of your data

Email sam@elucidategroup.com.au with the subject “Data deletion request”. Please include the email address you use for Content Studio and the name of your business or Facebook Page, so we can find your data. We will:

  • confirm we have received your request within 5 business days;
  • delete your Facebook and Instagram connection data (user and Page IDs, names and access tokens), your workspace content (business details, brand kit, photos, posts and captions) and your account, within 30 days; and
  • email you to confirm when the deletion is complete.

We may need to keep a small amount of information where the law requires it (for example, billing records), and we will tell you if this applies.

Posts already published

Posts that Content Studio has already published to your Facebook Page or Instagram account are part of your accounts, not ours. Deleting your Content Studio data does not remove them. You can delete them yourself on Facebook or Instagram at any time.
